I have a different type of post today that I want to share with you guys. We have all made mistakes in the past right? Last spring I decided I wanted to get fake nails since I like them in my early teenager years. How wrong I was, what I liked as a kid I no longer liked. Since I did pay for them I decided to stick to them for a little longer, wrong again! I kept on destroying my finger nails little by little without even knowing. I had them on for nearly two moths if I remember correctly, but it wasn't easy to keep up with them. First a 13 year-old high school girl does not do the same as a 19 year-old full time worker does.
I had decided to get fake nails because I was working at a fast-food place and I wasn't allowed to wear nail polish. Then my second job I was allowed to wear nail polish, so it was hard keeping up with nail polish remover. I decided since they both allow fake nails, ill just get them and save myself the hassle. What I didn't realize was that my second job was not easy on fake nails.
The first nail broke within a week of me getting them, did I mention how much the hurts?! Well I got it fixed right away, then I continue on breaking nails because I had to open to many carton boxes. The more you break them the more tender your actual nail gets. Well I didn't come to realize this until it was to late and got them off.
Below I have added some pictures of how brittle my nails appeared and felt. There was so many bridges in them! I couldn't file them because they were so tender and it hurt so much. I had to have nail polish on all the time because they look terrible on their own, plus they broke non-stop. The nail polish made them a little more stiffer and not so breakable. It was a long road until my nails look and appeared healthy.
I can reassure you that I won't be getting fake nails again. This is just my opinion on them, we all have different thoughts. What works for some doesn't work for others.
