NOTD - Ablaze

Disclaimer: Disclaimer: In collaboration with Color4Nails.
Hello Ladies

This was my first time having the opportunity to review nail polish. You can just imagine how happy I was when I got a few lacquers sent my way.

I don't own many glitter nail polishes just the essentials so getting a few rocked my world.

The formula is different to those sold at drugstores. It took a few tries for me to get it right. Other then that it works good.
I have 2 coats of polish and a top coat which lasted about 3 days without chipping.

What's in your bedside drawer?

Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bedsider.org.

Right now, 7 in 10 pregnancies among unmarried women 18-29 are described by women themselves as unplanned. Bedsider is a tool for women to learn about their birth control options, better manage their birth control, and in the process avoid getting pregnant until they’re ready. Bedsider provides detailed information and compares over a dozen birth control methods making it easy for every woman to find the right method to fit her lifestyle. Bedsider.org offers women unbiased advice on how and where to find birth control and shares news, views, real stories and even a weekly column based around sex and birth control.

Bedsider is operated by The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, a private non-profit organization, and is not funded by pharmaceutical companies or the government.

 (Methods to prevent pregnancy)

I keep a few essentials in my bedside drawer that every girl should have. The essentials are a lip balm, body lotion, gum, mints, and my type of birth control. Keeping my birth control on my night stand  helps me remember I when it's time to take it. How do you remember when to take your daily pill?

Birth control is something we should all as women be educated about and find what works best for us. There is many advantages to birth control then just preventing pregnancy. Birth control can help regulate a period or stay on track of your body as a women.

(Most effective)

The key to birth control is finding what works best for you. In order to know what method is best for you talk it over with your doctor. If you are not satisfied with one method try another.

Until this day I haven't found one method that works best for me. I have tried the pill and the patch which both have ups and downs. However, I make sure to always prevent pregnancy until I am ready.
Every girl has that bedside drawer that holds the bedroom essentials: their Kindle, a pair of reading glasses, sexy lingerie. – whatever fits their personality. No matter what your drawer says about you, there’s birth control that will fit right in. Find the best method for your routine and style at Bedsider.org.

High Shimmer Eye Shadow Quad in Vitange

Disclaimer: In collaboration with City Color Cosmetics Pr.
Hello Ladies

There is those of us who prefer quads over singles, palettes or duos. If you are one of them then this is for you. Quads are perfect for traveling, everyday use, and for glam nights.

City Color Cosmetics just came out with the High Shimmer Eye Shadow Quad collection not to long ago, the one I will be reviewing today is in Vintage. It comes with a beige, mauve, grey, and a teal shade. The finish of the eyeshadows is in between shimmery and metallic.

I would wear this on a night out since I don't play with color to much during the day. However, if you are more daring this would be perfect for a concert at the park during the summer. I think the palette is perfect for this upcoming season since it's fun and sparkly.

All the shades compliment each other very well. They can be worn alone for a pop of color or together for a fun look. Many looks can be created from the selection of colors in Vintage.

If you would like to see a how I would wear the quad just let me know and I will snap a few pictures.

Final Verdict:
Try it

How To Prevent the Death of your Iphone

Disclaimer: I am not been compensated nor sponsored for this post.
Hello Ladies :)

Now a days is all about having the latest phone in the market. There is so much advertising for new phones each year such as the galaxy, blackberry, nokia and the Iphone. With new phone coming out each is hard to keep up with the latest phone.
I have a love relationship with Iphones since I got my Iphone4. I am very lucky to have been able to own an iphone4, and 2 iphone5 in less then 2 years. As soon as the Iphone 5 came out I got it but lost it within 4 months, then I went on to my second to drop it in the washer.

I am punishing myself for been so careless with my phone. I am planning on getting a new phone very soon but undecided on which one or if to wait for the new Iphone5S which is probably what I will do. Until then let me share some tips with you on how to take better care of your phone.

Tips to expand the life of an Iphone

- Always know where the phone is
- Have a safe spot for the phone in your house
- Check all laundry before going in the washer!
If I would of done this I would still have my Iphone5
-If you are out (movies, mall, restaurant) always keep your phone in your pocket or purse.
-Before you leave any place make sure you have your phone with you.
Knowing where you lost the phone will improve the chances of finding it.
-Have a unique ringtone in case it gets lost.
-Always have a case on it
-Add a screen protector to lessen damage

However, if by any chance you get your Iphone wet here are some tips;

  1. If you ever get your phone wet DO NOT turn it on or off to see if it works.
If you follow this there is a better chance of survival.
  2. Let the phone fully DRY.
Many people claim that if you let it dry in a zip lock bag full of rice there is higher chances of survival.
  3. Once you are sure it is completely dry take it to a technician. Once you are there they will tell you if the phone has survived or not.

I hope you ladies found this post helpful.

Has this happened to you before? Did your phone survived or not?
